Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement short- and long-term IT strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.
- Manage, mentor, and develop IT teams to enhance performance and innovation.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems.
- Work closely with other departments to understand and fulfill technological needs.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Develop and manage the IT department’s budget efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and oversee regular IT system audits.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields (mandatory) and Master’s degree in Technology Management (preferred).
- At least 8 years of experience in software development and Minimum of 4 years in a managerial IT role, leading teams and projects.
Technical Skills:
- Programming & Development: Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP; experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and Git.
- Frameworks & Tools: Familiarity with Microservices, API Development, Cloud Computing, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and SDLC.
- Database Management: Expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Cybersecurity: Strong knowledge of data security practices and IT risk management.
- Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with server management, networking, and cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Leadership & Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire IT teams to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certifications (Optional): PMP, CISM, CISSP, or Agile Scrum Master certifications are a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Solution-oriented with a visionary approach to technology and Detail-oriented with exceptional time management skills.
