Scope of work:
- Manage and deploy best practice for Hadoop big data infrastructure, Hadoop Distributed File System,
master node, worker node and data node - Manage and deploy best practice for Cloudera installation include Ranger, Cloudera Manager,
Cloudera Management Service Role, Data Analytics Studio, Hue, Hive metastrore, Oozie, Schema Registry and Streams Messaging Manager. - Perform OS installation for Hadoop on Linux platform include configuration and best practice setting.
- Perform hardening setting for OS and Cloudera.
- Performance tuning for OS, Hadoop node and Cloudera.
- Perform daily monitoring for Hadoop node and OS parameters.
- Backup and restore for Hadoop system
- Support testing activities (including DR drill) with various stakeholders i.e. application teams, external
parties - Establish and maintain documentation and standards
- Works as part a team and provide the support when requirement
Technical Skill Requirement:
- 3+ years of experience with Cloudera Hadoop implementations is majors plus
- 5+ years of experience with OS Linux, ie Redhat
- Having a problem-solving attitude, work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work in banking industry.
